Élan Dance Conservatory was founded on the belief that dance is more than movement. It’s a pathway to confidence, creativity and community. Located in the heart of Greenville, SC. We offer comprehensive training in ballet, jazz, and tap for students of all ages and experience levels.

👩🏫 Meet Our Instructors
Emily Hartman
Artistic Director & Ballet Instructor
Emily began her dance journey at age 4 and has dedicated over 20 years to the art of ballet. She trained under renowned instructors from the Royal Academy of Dance and performed with regional ballet companies across the Southeast. Emily holds a BFA in Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and is certified in the Vaganova method. Her passion lies in mentoring young dancers and instilling a love for classical technique.

Jordan Mitchell
Jazz Program Lead
Jordan's dynamic energy and innovative choreography have made him a favorite among students. With a background in commercial dance, he has performed in national tours and music videos. Jordan earned his BA in Dance from the University of South Carolina and specializes in jazz, contemporary and hip-hop styles. He is committed to helping dancers develop versatility and stage presence.

Samantha Lee
Tap Instructor
Samantha's rhythmic precision and engaging teaching style bring tap to life. She trained extensively in rhythm tap and Broadway styles, studying under masters like Savion Glover and Brenda Bufalino. Samantha has performed in various theater productions and holds a degree in Performing Arts from Clemson University. She focuses on musicality and technique, ensuring each student finds joy in every step.

Ava Rodriguez
Children's Program Coordinator
Ava specializes in early childhood dance education, creating a nurturing environment for our youngest dancers. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has over a decade of experience teaching creative movement and introductory dance classes. Ava's classes are designed to develop motor skills, coordination and a foundational love for dance.
